I think this book helped me realize that my favorite way to consume comedy is when its mixed up with a healthy dose of drama. This was a fun and funny book with an appropriately characituresque cast of characters. I smiled a lot and enjoyed the world created, which was, sadly, an utterly believable future. I can easily imagine a future where paradise is a place where nobody is trying to convince you to buy something.
So a fun read with a well constructed sci-fi universe but too flippant to really stick with me. I prefer my antiheros more Malcolm Reynolds and less Han Solo.
